Special Education Launches Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey

All parents of a child with a disability are advised of the upcoming Annual Parental Survey to be conducted territory-wide. The purpose of this survey is to collect data on the number and level of parental satisfaction with the special education program and related services provided by the V.I. Department of Education’s Division of Special Education, according to a press release issued Friday by the State Director of Special Education.
Special Education will be utilizing the University of the Virgin Islands’ (UVI) Eastern Caribbean Center (ECC) to facilitate the survey process through telephonic interviews. This survey process will launch on Tuesday, July 5.
The results of the survey will be utilized to assist with improving services to children with disabilities and their families. The division looks forward to the full cooperation and participation of all our parents. For more information, contact the Division of Special Education offices at 776-5802 on St. Thomas or 719-7682 on St. Croix.
