Mr. Jorge Alberto Belardo died Thursday, April 21, at his residence inFayetteville, N.C. He was born on St. Croix, Virgin Islands, the son of Ernesto Belardo and Olga I. Belardo, nee Bonano. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a lab technician for the Virgin Islands Water & Power Authority.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 25, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, N.C., with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Belardo is survived by his father, Ernesto Belardo; special friend, Petronila Montes McIntosh; sons: Jorge A. Belardo Jr. and Jesus A. Belardo; brothers: Rey E. Belardo and Jose A. Belardo; and sister, Wilma I. Galiber.
