SEA Changes Date of Reptile Ramble Activity

St. Croix Environmental Association has changed the date of its Reptile Ramble from Jan. 23 to Feb. 27. The time and place remain the same.

Reptile Ramble will take place from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 27, at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge. Jennifer Valiulis, wildlife biologist at V.I. Division of Fish & Wildlife, will be the guide for this popular activity. Many people are familiar with the common anole that climbs on walls around Virgin Islands’ homes, but there are many other species of reptiles that inhabit trees, leaf litter, brush piles and rock piles.
Join SEA for this opportunity to become more familiar with these wonderful insect eaters. Children five years and older will especially enjoy this activity. It is free for SEA members and children, $10 for non-members. Please bring water to drink. To register, call 773-1989.
