Ira A. Samuel Jr. Dies at 54

Ira A. Samuel Jr.

Ira A. Samuel Jr., also known as “Junie” or “Green,” of Miami, Florida, and formerly of Frederiksted died on Sept. 18. He was 54 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Michelle Archibald-Samuel; mother, Jean B. Prince; father: Ira A. Samuel Sr.; daughter, Shana Samuel; sons: Darvin, Darwin, Darrel and Dwayne Samuel; grandchildren: Zamoriah, Darrius and Kesean Samuel; sisters: Lorna, Donna, Pamela and Edna Samuel, Mary Samuel-Croome, and Mona, Sonia and Brenda Sackey; and brothers: Daniel and Michael Samuel. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Monique Archibald; aunts: Marjorie Jackson, Patricia Stevens, Janet Prince-Soto, Marlene Horn, Ivonne Phipps, Agnetta Thomas, Annabelle Stevens and Gwendolyn Woods; uncles: David Heyliger, Joseph Samuel and Frank Prince; special friends: Brenda Bastian, Anita Ford, Otto Jean, Rodney Victor, Jenny Miller, Valerie Williams, the Hewitt and Thurland families; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at St. Patrick‘s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
