Mary Agatha Megahy, also known as “Aggie,” of Sion Hill died on Sept. 8, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 87 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Julia Josephine Adlien, Rebecca, Bernadette and Monica Megahy; stepdaughter, Melinda Raymond; son, Leonard Megahy; stepson, Nigel Megahy; grandchildren: Hygette Nelson, Jaqueline Eliott, Marie-Ange, Louis-Leonard, Jon, Ashley and Coral Megahy, Bernita Boxill, Tarikh, Akim and Kimani Toussaint; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Laureen Megahy; son-in-law, Patrick Adlien; nieces: Mary Ann Mitchell and Joycelyn Bertin; nephew, Julian Paul; goddaughter, Lydia Richards; special friends: Christina Richards, Norma Simmons, Lena and Ezekiel Charles, Thomas Elias, Denise March family, David and Olga Capriola, the Lawrence family, Wendy Byrne, Pat and Carly Bessette, McGregor Octave, and Yvonne and Mark McIntosh; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 14, at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Estate Richmond. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
