Eileen Leona Harris Pennick Dies at 58

Jan. 6, 2009 – Eileen Leona Harris Pennick died on Dec. 31, at her residence in Tide Village. She was 58 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Pennick; son, Jamal Pennick; daughter, Tiffany Pennick Walters; grandchildren: Sariah and Sulayman Walters; sisters: Molly Tillman and Lema Harris; and brother Theophilus Harris. She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Betty and Marie Pennick, and Joyce Harris; brothers-in-law: James Jr., DW, Calvin, Johnny and Elliot Pennick; nieces: Debbie Tillman, Alicia, Velma and Donna Harris, Gail Harris-Perez (in-law), Robie Pennick and Janice Hoyer; nephews: Juan Perez Jr., Ronald Hoyer, Larry Harris, Anthony, William and Gregory Tillman, and Langston Pennick; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 9, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made for a scholarship fund to be established through the St. Croix Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. in honor of Eileen Harris Pennick.
