The St. Croix Hibiscus Society will host speaker Errol Chichester at its next Grow & Learn workshop, at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at St. George Village Botanical Garden. He will talk on the rewards and challenges of growing the huge variety of tropical hibiscus hybrids. He will also give details about the upcoming show to be presented by the Society on Jan. 20. SGVBG's Horticultural Director David Hamada will then lead a short walk through to the garden to look at some representatives of this plant family.
There is a small fee for the workshop. To sign up, call 692-2874. Participants who are not members of the garden are encouraged to join by signing up at or prior to the event.
