BOOK SIGNINGS AT DOCKSIDE SHOP APRIL 24, 26

April 22, 2004 – Dockside Bookshop is celebrating its own carnival of reading, with book-signing events by two authors scheduled this week.
Longtime St. Croix resident Nina York will sign her book "Islands of Beauty and Bounty: A Historical Profile of the Danish West Indies," from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at the Dockside shop in Havensight Mall.
Children's book author and illustrator Adjoa J. Burrowes will sign her books during her visit to St. Thomas from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, April 26. The illustration is of "Grandma's Purple Flowers," a book Burrowes both wrote and illustrated, which has won awards for its portrayal of death for the understanding of young children.
