In profound sorrow we the management and staff of Turnbull’s Funeral Home & Crematory Services announce the passing of Vanita Hodge, 84, of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands who passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.ย

She is survived by her son, Kitt Eddie Hodge; daughters, Dr. Greta Hart-Hyndman, Joy Arlene Gabriel, Charleen Marina Hodge, Minister Georgen Evelyn Anthony, Davila Marjorie Hamlin and Jasmine Norecia Lucy Hodge; sons-in-Law, Joel Hyndman, Shawn Hamlin, Steve Gabriel, and Hamish Anthony; sisters, Inez Smith-Francis, Anita Smith, Marietta (Rita) Foy, Mavis (Shanika) Foy; brother-In-Law: Alberto Francis; brothers, Eunel (Toddy) Smith, Alphonse Fahie, Richard Fahie; sisters-in-law, Vornet Smith and Shirley Fahie; grandchildren, Tiffany Hyndman, Tafara Hyndman, Jeremy Estrill, Jahmall Carty, Tawana Thomas, Shanah-Nequai Rieara, Dietra Gabriel, Dymetri Hamlin, Jahniya Hamlin and Gabriel Diamond; great-grandchildren, Josiah Dalmida, Adonojai Dalmida, Jahvonte Carty, Mariah Carty, Taniah Thomas, Macai Lark, Jelauni Estrill, Jenaye Estrill, Menen Estrill, Marina Mae Estrill, Dakota Hamlin, Elias Davis; and many more family and friends too numerous to mention.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. at Oasis Church of God of Prophecy 4406 Weymouth Rhymer Hwy St. Thomas followed by a 10 a.m. serviceย
