Shirlene Simon-Harvey Dies

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shirlene Simon-Harvey on September 4, 2025 in South Carolina. Shirlene was a devoted mother, grandmother, beloved friend, educator and cherished member of our community. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Shirlene’s legacy continues through her beloved family.

Shirlene is survived by her husband Bobby Harvey; their 3 children Sheneida Harvey (Daughter), Shantana Harvey-JnBaptiste (Daughter), & Beron Harvey (Son); Rohan JnBaptiste (Son-in- law), Chrystal Harvey (Daughter-in-law), Grandchildren, Delani Harvey, Syriah Harvey, Samya JnBaptiste, Zynnae Harvey, Eynara Harvey, Nakayla JnBaptiste, & Iyaila Harvey; Nephews, John Simon, Malcolm Simon, and Edmond Simon; Niece, Denise Marques; Sister-in-law, Mellonee Simon; Great Nieces, Christiana Simon & Bryetta Simon; Great Nephews, Isiah Simon, Brandon Simon, Bradford Simon, Bryce Simon, Braxton Simon, Edmond Simon Jr.; Special Friends & Family, The James Family, The Petersen Family, The Morton Family, The Cook Family (SC), The Thomas Family, along with many other friends and family, too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church, Christiansted St. Croix. Viewing will begin at 9:00 am with service at 10:00 am. Private interment will follow.
