Father Reverend John Kennedy Dies at 56

Father Reverend John Kennedy Mark, aka, “Johnny, Father Mark” of Custom House, passed away on May 11. He was 56 years old.

He is preceded in death by his, father, Deacon Joseph T. Mark; grandparents, Festus Mark, Ronald- John Pitt, Veronica Stuart; aunt, Marcel Jones; uncle, Bernard Nicholoson; Evette Jones. 

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Pitt Mark; grandmother, Barbara Mark; sister, Anne- Marie Mark Camacho; brother, Harold Mark; nieces,  Alysha Tutein Velez, Jasmine Bailey, Jacinta Mark, Jessica Mark, Le’Anna Camacho; nephews, Antonio Camacho; nephew-in-law, Javier Velez; great-neices, Jovalys Velez, Janiyah Rosa; great-nephews,  Joviel Velez, Jovanny Velez; aunts, Stephani, Angela, Pamela, Usa Sharon, Avis, Bertha Pitt Bonaparte, Zelia Gonsales; uncles, Nesfield, Banfield, Hamlet, Neri, Frederick, Thomas, James Nicholoson; brother-in-law, Leocadio Camacho; sister-in-law, Rud Mark; godparents, Jean Pitt, Lawrence Joseph;  godchildren, Myesha, Kiamni, Alysha, Antonio, Jessica; cousins and other relatives, Mark Jones, Pitt Family, Mark Family, Stuart Family, Aldon Rogers Family and Flavia Logie Family; special friends, Steve Olive, Msgr. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Viewing will begin at 9 am, with service at 10 am. Interment will follow at the St. Patrick church cemetery.
