Irene Zephine Roach Morris Dies at 98

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Zephine Roach Morris, born on August 26, 1926, on the beautiful island of Montserrat. Irene lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, strength, and unwavering grace who passed away on May 10, 2025.

She is lovingly remembered and honored by her devoted Godson, Alphonso Boyce Sr., her cherished adopted daughter-in-law Caliya Boyce, and her beloved adopted grandchildren, Camille and Alyssa Boyce. She also leaves behind the extended Boyce and Delgado families, her dear niece Elizabeth Gerard, and many more nieces and nephews—too numerous to mention, but all held close in her heart. 

Special thanks and deep appreciation are extended to her best friend Olive Phillips, whose companionship meant so much, and to all the wonderful neighbors in the community, Human Services Senior Citizen Center and Holy Family Church who supported Irene through the years. 

Funeral service is on June 6 at the Holy Family Church in TUTU starting with public viewing and testimony from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. and service will follow after and interment Western Cemetery # 3. Transportation will be provide from the church to cemetery for those who like to take part of the burial service.

Her life will be celebrated in a spirit of love, gratitude, and remembrance. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
