Beryl Carter Dies at 81

Beryl Carter, aka “B.C.”, of Estate Whim, passed away on April 30. She was 81 years old.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Augusta Galloway; father, Rufus Galloway; and spouse, Douglas Carter Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Potter, Hon. Andrea Carter-Latimer, Charlene Carter, Erica Carter, Verena Carter-Henry; son, Dr. Douglas Carter Jr.; grandchildren, Adrian Galloway, Julia Dopwell, Trevor Henry Jr., Ebony Henry, Alexander Barnes, Tricia Henry, Prynce Henry, Taylor Latimer, Jada Henry, Abrie Thompson; great-grandchildren, Tahir Walcott, Anthony Dourmas, Adrian Galloway Jr., Adriayona Galloway, Christian Galloway, Ayanna Buchanan, T’Narje Buchanan, T’Neal Galloway; brother, Walford Galloway Sr.; nieces, Angela Tyson-Floyd, Cedric Tyson Jr.; nephews, Cedric Tyson, Deric Galloway, Walford Galloway Jr., Kurt Galloway Jr., Terrance Tyson, Nigel Tyson, Elston Tyson; sons-in-law, Trevor Henry Sr., Keith Latimer; sisters-in-law, Agnes Tyson, Dolores Carter-Brown, Rigmor Barron, Dorothy Carter; godchildren, Kishawn CamachoChevonne Richards, Melinda Jeffers, Melvina Lewis; special friends,  Lydia Ross, Georgiana Romney, Cicely Dennery, Barabara Lancaster; extended family, and countless cherished friends whose names are too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
