The Department of Public Works (DPW) advises the community of an emergency road closure on Crystal Gade and segments of Raadets Gade, St. Thomas. Starting Tuesday, Nov. 26 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DPW contractor –Island Roads Inc.– will close the roadway to continue paving. Parked and abandoned vehicles are currently impeding the contractor from proceeding. The department is asking all vehicle owners to remove their vehicles from the roadsides during work hours to ensure roadwork continues as scheduled.
The Department of Public Works appreciates the community’s patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
