Mary Ellen Ryan died on June 28, at the HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, Port St Lucie, Fla. She was 96 years old.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Edgar Tuitt and Florence Gerald; sister: Rosannah Gerald; and brother, John Tuitt.
She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Ryan Grant; granddaughters: Nicole Whyte and Latoya Whyte; adopted son, Denzil Oliver; grandson, Nygel Whyte; niece, Beverly Tuitt; nephew, Bradley Tuitt; cousins: Ivan Silcott, Mil Robinson, Marjorie Silcott, Leon Barzey and Joycelyn Tucker; special friends: Nathaniel Lake, George Lake, Guezbe Heskey, Orgyll Carillo, Joan Browne, Paul Walwyn, Hildereen Malone and Janet Odium.
Family and friends are invited to share in her “Celebration of Life” on Sunday, Aug. 4, at City Seventh-day Adventist Church. The viewing will take place from 9-10 a.m. with a service immediately following at 10 a.m.
