A St. Croix man who was wanted on an arrest warrant for firing his firearm on Kings Alley Boardwalk with other people in the vicinity has been found and arrested, the V.I. Police Department reported.
On Saturday, at 10:40 pm, members of the Safe Street Gun Violence Initiative spotted Terrell Johnson at Gateway Service Station. The officers made contact with Johnson and advised him that there was an arrest warrant for him, according to the police report.
The warrant was issued in relation to a reckless endangerment that occurred on Feb. 10, in the vicinity of the Cruzian Bayou Bistro, Kings Alley Walk, Christiansted, where the incident was caught on surveillance camera clearly showing Johnson firing his firearm while others were present on the Kings Alley Boardwalk, the police report stated.
Johnson, 32, was arrested and taken into custody without incident, the report stated.
Bail for Johnson was set at $100,000, police said.
