Veteran Elroy Williams of Chesapeake, Virginia, died on April 23. He was 53 years old.
He is survived by his fiancé, Nadine Niedermeier; son, Jahmaad Williams; daughters: Aliah Williams, Sasha Williams, Afiya Williams and Tiaria Williams; grandsons: Jaden Williams and Jaxon Williams; granddaughter, Abella Wyatt; sister, Deloris McBean; brothers: Theodore Williams, Carl Williams, Basil Williams Sr. and Leroy Williams; aunt, Hulda Walters; and uncles: Ezekial Wlaters and Elvin Smith.
He is also survived by nieces: Tomasina Williams, Dwan Williams, Neema Williams, Amelia Arnold-Christian, Emily Pedro, Tania Smith, Kamika Byrd, Deborah Mason, Devone McBean and Marguerite Illidge; nephews: Shaleem Williams, Basil Williams Jr., Quadre Williams, Paul Arnold Jr., Ray Mason, Alton Mason, Charles McBean Jr., Kurt Smith, Michael Smith and Alberic Illidge; sister-in-law, Evelyn Mason; brother-in-law, Elvin Smith; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery, Veteran Section.
