Pistarckle Theater presents “Leading the Way,” an evening of live skits and video shorts created by its Leadership Camp students this at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 16 and 17, at the theater.
Pistarckle Theater is leading the way on crime prevention. Live theater not only entertains, but it enriches the mind and soul by exploring and showing the bond we all share as human beings. It allows us to see that we all experience the same human failings and dreams, the same joys and fears and that we are not alone in facing the challenges we face in life. The students in our leadership program have written, directed and starred in these thought provoking pieces that show hopelessness is at the core of all crime. By sharing these stories of overcoming extraordinary odds to improve ourselves and our lives, we can bring hope and opportunity to those who are on the verge of giving up.
