Man’s Car Stolen at Gunpoint

Police on St. Croix are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday at Salt River Beach where two masked men allegedly stole a man’s car at gunpoint.

According to police, the victim said he was parked at the Salt River Beach at around 12:15 a.m. when two unknown armed men in masks and dark clothing approached him and his acquaintance demanding money. The suspects ordered the victims out of the car, ripped the male victim’s gold chain off of his neck, and drove off in the vehicle, police said.

The stolen car is a silver 2006 Dodge Magnum four-door.
