Maude Agatha Daniel-James of Orange Grove died on Nov. 7, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 88 years old.
She is survived by her companion, Rupert Wells; daughter, Mildred E. Dean-Evans; son, Ivan Nathaniel James; stepson, Ira James Jr.; grandchildren: Bernard K. Evans, Pamela E. Evans and Howard James; great-grandchildren: Quynton Evans, Kyra E. Lloyd and Myra T. Lloyd; sister, Agailia Daniel Carroll; and brothers: Emile and James Daniel. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Anna James; son-in-law, Benjamin Evans Jr.; nieces: Beryl, Annie, Mary, Karen, Delta, Lorraine, Doreen, Clarissa and Debra Daniel; nephews: Orville, Jepter, Keith, Randolph, Melvin and James Jr.; many great nieces and great nephews as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 am and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, at Friedensthal Moravian Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
