The American Red Cross offers a spring schedule of learn to swim classes. Registration will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, at Magens Bay. Classes will be held on five Saturdays, from April 10 through May 15, for ages six months through adults. The cost of the classes is $75 ($65 for returning students) for the five weeks, which includes water safety books. A family plan is also available.
1) Children: 6 months – 5 years — 9:30-10 a.m. (Parent must accompany the child in the water)
2) Children: ages 6 – 16 — (Advanced swimmers 10-11 a.m.) and
3) Beginners: 11 a.m. to noon
4) Adults: ages 17 and older — 10-11 a.m. (Beginners through advanced swimmers)
