Police Looking for 12-Year-Old Girl Missing Since Friday

April 8, 2007 – Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday afternoon.
Laquina Kadija Hennis was last seen with an adult male on Eighth Avenue in Sugar Estate.
She is a student at Lockhart Elementary School.
Police think Hennis may have known the man with whom she was last seen.
Hennis is light skinned, 103 pounds and 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
Posters have been circulated in the Sugar Estate area, Vitraco Mall and Tutu Park Mall, Wheatley Center and K-mart at Lockhart Gardens, according to acting Commissioner James McCall.
They have also been circulated at Pearson Gardens Housing Community and Oswald Harris Court.
McCall said the matter is under investigation by the V.I. Police Department, U.S. Marshal's Office and the Safe Streets Task Force. He said the Marshals have a mandate to assist in the investigations of missing and exploited children.
Anyone with information about the missing child is asked to call 911.
