Dear Source:
The recent murder of the east end homeowner who had been burglarized is typical on St. Thomas. For years the police department has not been able to control the crime rate, apprehend felons and solve crimes. As a result, the law and order of the Virgin Islands has broken down. There is no law and order. The good citizens of St Thomas and St John should form their own law enforcement agency and rid the islands of the inept, corrupt public officials who do nothing to protect those who are victimized every day.
