Feb. 1, 2008 — Donnie E. Dorsett was recently graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a master of public administration with a concentration in public management.
His cumulative graduation GPA was 3.52. A total of 960 students received degrees at the annual winter commencement ceremonies.
U.S. News and World Report's 2005 edition ranks the University of Nebraska at Omaha's master of public administration the 26th best out of 259 similar public university master's programs. The UNOs public-management concentration program is ranked 18th best for public universities in the country.
Dorsett received his master's degree Dec. 21. he is a 2000 graduate of the University of the Virgin Islands. He received a bachelor of arts degree in social sciences and also served as the 2000 senior class president and Student Government Association representative. He is a 1995 graduate of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School.
Donnie is the son of George and Icilda Dorsett of St. Thomas.
