The 22nd Annual Toast-to-the-Captain Road Race will be held at 6 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 9. The race will begin and end near the Customs House in Christiansted.
The 8.4-mile race celebrates Captain Teddy Seymour, the first black man to sail around the world alone. The public is invited to cheer the runners on and to meet Capt. Seymour on Saturday morning at the awards breakfast following the race.
