Feb. 8, 2008 — WAPA water distribution technicians will perform leak detection surveys from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday in St. Thomas Lower Hospital Ground area. Customers fed off the Bergs Home Pump Station, feeding the Upper Hospital Ground and Upper Ross Estate areas, will also be affected most of the day, as the pump station is fed off the lower Hospital Ground system.
During all leak detection survey periods, customers in the designated areas can expect water interruptions up to three hours with other shorter intervals, should the need arise.
Motorists are urged to drive cautiously in the work areas for the safety of water crews and the general public.
