Dear Source:
I read the story "Co-Conspirator Explains Fraud Scheme, Says Plaskett Pulled Knife on Him" in the VI Source. I wondered what the reasons were for including the expletives in the paragraphs at the end of the story. Though I know that tapes were being quoted, I think that it was unnecessary to include the words which are offensive to many. Use of dashes, stars, or similar symbols would have gotten the point across. I like to encourage my children to read the news, but would not be pleased for them to see those words in print. Sincerely,
Camille McKayle
