March 14, 2008 – Wilfredo "Guapo" Willie Garcia of Estate Richmond died on Feb. 27. He was 24 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Zulma Garcia; father, Wilfredo Acevedo; grandparents: Sulma Parrilla and Francesca Perez; sisters: Crystal Dowling, Cristine Caines and Tahirah Sobratti; and brothers: Roberto Marrero, Deric Garcia, Wayne Sobratti, Isaiah Sobratti. He is also survived by aunts: Omaida Garcia, SherryAnn Parrilla, Wanda Garcia, and Marily Francis; uncles: Victor M. Garcia, Ambrose E. Daniel-Bambu, special friends: Edwin, Jose, Gulo, Guey, Jermaine, Big Rick, Wanda, Obas Cepeda, Clouden, Kamilah William, Pelle, Carlos, Big John, Beba, Norna, Nina, Carlos and Jonny; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, March 14, at James Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the chapel. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
