Dear Source:
it seems that many people are hopping the governor will do something about there problems, personally i like this guy, he says lets stop blaming the past and move on, he has actively sought out jobs and investors to develop st croix, our problem isn't gas prices, our problem is getting higher wages and more people spending money here, the bad guy is bush for borrowing so much and driving the value of the dollar down by 1/2 in 8 years. so far the governor has enticed Disney cruises, captain morgan, home depot to st croix, he has enforced the gillnet ban and has cut pork barrel spending on things like sweetheart deals to private companies contracting for improvements to out infrastructure, whilemany are crying the sky is falling he has stepped up and proven that with some hard work and unity our sky isn't falling at all, we will work thru the wapa , innovative, high gas prices, but we have to work together, we should seek quality tourist that really spend money we should make deals that require us to risk alongside the investors they we should all work to make it profitable for the VI, sooner or later someone will realize that st croix has a yes we can do it mentality and they will step us to help us, people love a winner and so far our governor is winning, instead of saying he needs to do this or that, we should follow the example of e keith a 60ish woman who has been quietly cleaning up the beaches on the west end, ( she cleans up the beaches and leaves trash bags and people use them) if we all pitch in and help our governor i believe he will really have time to solve some of our problems instead of having to always jump into the breach of what ever petty squabble our leaders seem to have.
