WAPA Board Will Hold Special Meeting
The Governing Board of the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 17, in the Executive Conference Room, Subbase, St. Thomas.
The agenda will include a request to reprogram project funds from the 2003 Electric Bond issue in order to fund the completion of urgently needed work on St. Croix Units No. 10 and No. 17 and St. Thomas Units No. 12, No. 14, and No. 22. The governing board will also consider management's request to increase the capital line of credit with local banks.
