SRMC to Dedicate Chapel and Have a Week of Symposiums

Nov. 10, 2006 – The Schneider Regional Medical Center will hold its 15th Annual Pastor Care/Bio-Medical Ethics Symposium from 9:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., daily, Monday, Nov. 13 through Friday, Nov. 17. Monday
Everyone is invited to attend a dedication of the All Faiths Chapel, from 8-9 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 13, located on the fourth floor of SRMC. The chapel will serve as a place of prayer and hope to all religious affiliations in the community. The hospital has not had a place for people to go and pray for their loved ones until now.
Topics and presenters for the symposiums:
"Spirituality and Stress" on Monday, Nov. 13, with Tom Tyne, Ph.D. and Rev. Lennox Zamore.
"Who, What, How, Where Do We See It?" on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 14-15, with Rev. Dr. Wycherly Gumbs, Rev. Dr. George Franklin, Cynthia Farmer, Desiree Witter-Lambertis and Angella Rennalls-Atkinson.
"Physical Reflection of Stress" on Thursday, Nov. 16, with Dr. Roy Flood, Dr. Luis Amaro and Dr. Robin Ellet.
"Changing/Discovering Lifestyle Choices" on Friday, Nov. 17, with Dr. Mary Caffee and Jerry Smith.
