Sylvia Delita Miller James of St. Croix died Friday, Nov. 10 at Bentaub Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mrs. James last resided in Texas. She was 44.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at St. John's Anglican Church. A viewing will proceed the service beginning at noon.
Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
Mrs. James is survived by her husband, Clifton James; daughters, Kafi Miller and Sasoni James Beck; sons, Kimani James and Sherwin James; grandchildren, Tyler Beck and Keeshawn D. Lake; sisters, Michelle Bascombe, Colette David, Bensa Miller, Jerraine Miller Wynter, Shermaine Miller, Ivia Miller, and Diana Miller; brothers, Gary Nicholas, Sean Miller, Robert Miller, Lionelle Miller and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Ortis Simon; father-in-law, James Hunte; step-father- in-law, Clifton Simon; son-in-law, Todd Back; sisters-in-law, Maria Nicholas and Nicole Samuel; brothers-in-law, Reynold James, Noel Wynter, Randall Bascombe, Carlisle De Lande, Leroy David; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
