MAN SHOT FOUR TIMES IN SAVAN THURSDAY

St. Thomas police reported a 25-year-old man was shot four times in Savan Thursday morning.
James "Scala" Furlong told police that around 9 a.m. a man approached him and called him by name before opening fire. Furlong was hit in both legs and in the buttocks.
He was taken to Roy L. Schneider Hospital by ambulance, but police did not say what Furlong's condition was.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Investigation Bureau at 774-4050, 911 or the Crime Line at 777-8711.
