FRENCHTOWN FUNDRAISER SUNDAY

Friends of Diana Derringer are staging a potluck benefit from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Betsy's Bar in Frenchtown for the Frenchtown Deli waitress who recently suffered a disabling knee injury while walking home from work.
Derringer's warm good humor as she greets her early morning Deli coffee customers has become a Frenchtown mini-institution. Since she has no medical nor rehabilitation insurance, her pals have gotten together to help.
And they've got quite a lineup. Live music will be by RJ Nuisance and the Bareback Riders. There's a bachelor/bachelorette auction, a silent auction and raffle drawings with prizes for meals, trips and more. Everyone is asked to bring a dish, in true pot luck tradition, and there's a $10 door donation.
Anyone wishing to make a donation, or wanting additional information, should call Michelle Hulse at 774-2350, ext. 102, or Erik Ackerson at 776-3133.
