WAPA TO CUT OFF WATER TO REPLACE HYDRANT

May 22, 2002 – Water service will be interrupted Friday in the Estate Slob area while a Water and Power Authority crew replaces a leaking fire hydrant in front of Alfredo Andrews Elementary School.
The work is scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to a WAPA release. While the work is under way, it said, potable water service will be cut off to the Andrews school, Central High School, La Reine Shopping Center, Candido Guadalupe housing community and KAHS Laundry.
