"MAKES SENSE STRATEGIES" WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS

June 26, 2002 – All special education and regular teachers and UVI Teacher Education Staff are invited to a special workshop, "Makes Sense Strategies," from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 12 & 13, at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, St. Thomas.
Persons interested in attending are encouraged to register early to secure space.
This workshop is a three-part series of professional development activities which focus on using research-based strategies for student engagement and connecting teaching, learning and assessment.
The Office of Special Education Services must receive registration forms by 5 p.m., June 28. For additional information contact Mrs. Millin at the Office of Special Education at 774-4399.
