Feb. 19, 2003 — Beyond Visions Foundation will conduct a seminar in preliminary grant writing and development, to assist organizations who are interested or considering applying for grants.
The seminar will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in Building T-101 on the University of the Virgin Islands St. Thomas campus. Cost is $35 for persons who pre-register by Feb. 25. Cost is $45 after that date.
This seminar will provide insight on what to consider before seeking grant funds. The workshop will take complex grant development issues and explain them in a straightforward approach, a release said. This workshop will include information on foundation trends, grant proposal checklist, the "do's and don't's," grant writing tips, and other topics.
