Nov. 21, 2003 – The St. Joseph and Rosendahl road through Estate Wintberg has been closed for emergency repairs to a collapsed portion of the roadway, the Public Works Department announced Friday afternoon.
As a result of damage caused by recent heavy rains and flooding, "the road is considered too dangerous to traverse," a Government House release stated.
Police barricades have been erected to prevent cars from driving through the affected area, the release stated, and motorists should "seek alternate methods of traveling through Estate Wintberg and St. Joseph and Rosendahl."
Public Works will advise the public once repairs are completed, the release said.
