Dec. 2, 2003 District Governor Keith I. Daley O.D. arrived on St. Croix Monday to begin his official visit and review of the four Rotary Clubs on the island. He returns home Friday.
He is being hosted by: Rotary Club of St. Croix, President David A. Beck; Rotary Club of St. Croix West, President Marion Hazlewood; Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle, President David K. Hayes; Rotary Club of St. Croix Harborside, President Kimberly Jones; and Assistant District Governor Rupert W.Ross Jr.
Daley will be meeting with each club's Board of Directors to review plans and the club's progress. He will also bring greetings and updates from Rotary International and President Jonathon Majiyagbe.
Daley will visit and review the four Rotary Club Centennial Projects and other ongoing activities and will deliver his official address at a dinner Thursday, Dec. 4, at Gertrude's Restaurant where members from all clubs will be present.
There will be press conference on Friday Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Gertrude's, where Daley will speak on the State of the District, which extends from the Bahamas in the north to the Dutch and French West Indies in the south.
District 7020 comprises 10 countries, three languages, 61 Rotary Clubs and more than 1,200 Rotarians.
