April 4, 2006 – The Virgin Islands National Guard will be conducting an overnight field training exercise on St. Croix from Friday, April 7, through Sunday, April 9, at Howard Wall Boy Scout Camp and Cramer's Park.
Residents are asked to carefully maneuver day and night vehicle convoys along the roadways.
The 651st General Support Maintenance Company will be utilizing weapons with blanks during the field training exercise at the Howard Wall site. These are safe training aids that may cause noise disturbance.
The National Guard will like to apologize to neighboring communities for any noise disturbance that may be caused by their soldiers while training on the weapon systems.
