Note: Parking in Red Hook can be very difficult. If you will be driving to the terminal, leave time to locate a parking spot. Many people park their vehicles along Red Hook Road, Route 38, if they’re only going over for the day. If you plan to go overnight, either bring your car with you on the car ferry, or take a taxi. It is not recommended that you leave your car parked along the road over night.

Note: Plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the departure time. On St. Thomas, barges arrive and depart from the marine terminal to the left of the passenger ferry dock in Red Hook. Cars and trucks queue up in the parking lot there. The first car on the ferry is the last one off.
On St. John, the barges arrive and depart from the Enighed Pond terminal, south of Cruz Bay.
