Puerto Rico Celebrates New Edition of the Bakery & Restaurant Show

For the fourth consecutive year, Puerto Rico gathers the most important suppliers and traders in the prepared food industry on the Island, the Caribbean and other jurisdictions in the United States this August at The Bakery & Restaurant Show.
The gastronomic event, renowned for being one of the most important in the Caribbean, will take place on the Aug. 25 and 26, at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, located in the island’s capital, San Juan.
During the two days, the Puerto Rico Convention Center becomes a wide exhibition space for thousands of products from the industry, allowing more than 6,000 owners of restaurants and food establishments to interact with hundreds of suppliers to know the latest in the sector and carry out commercial transactions.
The Bakery & Restaurant Show is organized by the Puerto Rico Restaurants Association (ASORE in Spanish) and the Bread Baking Industry Association of Puerto Rico (AIPPR in Spanish). The activity is exclusively for people belonging to the gastronomic industry.
“Once again, the gastronomic industry from all across the Caribbean region gathers in a single place to provide space for a world of business transactions. On this occasion there are more participants, and we can anticipate larger commercial activity,” ASORE president Humberto Rovira said.
