Simeon Walker Dies at 86

Simeon Walker Simeon Walker, also known as “Bones,” died on March 15. He was 86 years old.
He is survived by his sons: Simeon “Bones/OJ” Walker Jr., John Walker Sr. and Alford Walker; daughters: Avril, Gloria Julius, Sharie Margetson, Gwen Malone and Caroline Woodly (deceased); brother, Rene Walker; sister, Cynthia Walker-Hull; and grandchildren: John Walker Jr., Nijonte Walker, Jovante Walker, Jovanny Walker, Jahnique Walker, Jahnee Walker, Nikkianna Hogan, Nic-Koy Hazel, D’Andre Douglas, Orchid Rogers, Angelisa Woodley, Nigel Woodley, Kardin Jeffers, Kevaughnn Trenton and Albert Evelyn Sr.

He is also survivedby great-grandchildren: Kadiquequa Jeffers, Kadique Jeffers, Kiara Carty, Kianna Stephens, Albert Evelyn Jr., Jah’stasia Evelyn, Annastasia Evelyn and Destiny Hodapp; daughters-in-law: Nicole Hazel-Walker and Renee Charleswell; sons-in-law: Ruel Julius and Johnny Woodly; special friend, Gladys Forrester; close friends: Franklin and Veronica Hazel, Roger Minkoff, Mr. Lloyd, Mrs. Hodge, Clive Ledee (St. Kitts), Luastus Bridgewater (St. Kitts), the residents and staff of the Lucinda Millin Home, the Church of God of Prophecy Church family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mentio

A first viewing will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at Church of God of Prophecy, Donoe. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
All arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
