The 17th annual Miracle on Main Street celebration scheduled for Friday has been pushed back a week to December 18th, according to a release from the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce.
Nothing has changed in the lineup however, and the event — put on by the Chamber’s Destination Downtown Committee — will still kick off at 10 a.m. on the 18th with a Revive Our Culture Christmas Fair in Emancipation Garden, featuring a variety of arts and crafts booths, music from the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School’s jazz and steel bands and a visit from Santa.
A lighted boat parade on the Waterfront will follow at 6:30 p.m., along with a mini-Christmas parade from Market Square to Emancipation Garden at 8:30 p.m.
And as usual, downtown stores will be offering "miraculous" discounts and restaurants will be open late.
