Holiday cheer will be served up by the baker’s dozen at a special benefit for the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center (AWC). Namaste Café in Christiansted will host a Santa’s Caribbean Bakeshop, Holiday Party and Cookie Exchange from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17. The benefit will feature holiday carolers, nibbles and treats, specialty beverages for adults and children, festive decorations and holiday photos. The entry fee is $5. Well behaved pets are welcome to attend and have a holiday photo taken. The cookie exchange will feature cookies by the baker’s dozen for a $20 donation. Several volunteer elves are baking cookies as a fundraiser for the organization. Advanced ordering is available by calling Sadie’s Pet Boutique at 719-9400.
