Pistarckle Theater’s hit comedy “Greater Tuna” finishes its run this weekend, so don’t miss it! Education Program performs: The Education Program will present their end-session performance “High School High,” written and directed by Larry Bryant and starring 12 actors from the current classes of Leadership in Theater and Art in Theater. The play is based on the story of two high school friends, their betrayal and the family that saves them. Performances are at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4 and 2 p.m., Sunday Dec. 6. The suggested ticket donation is $10.

Auditions: Pistarckle Theater will soon hold auditions for “Crowns,” a gospel musical about six African- American women, their lives, their heritage and the hats they wear. The cast requires five adult women, one adult male and one girl 18-20 years old. All performers need to move well but need not be dancers. Please bring a prepared gospel song. A pianist will be provided.
Auditions are at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Pistarckle Theater, Tillett Gardens.
Third show of the season begins in December: Pistarckle continues its season with “A Christmas Carol 1941,” the classic Dickens story of greed, ghosts and redemption, re-imagined in Washington, D.C. at the start of World War II. Set in the era of the jitterbug, this play with music and dance breathes new life into a familiar tale with all the classic characters and quite a few new ones. Performances will run from Dec. 10, pay as you can night; Dec. 11, Champagne Opening; and Dec. 12, 18 and 19, all at 7 pm. Matinees are at 2 p.m. on Dec. 12, 19 and 20 at Pistarckle Theater.
