Isiah Joseph Philbert, also known as “J” or “Fillie,” of Estate Upper Love died on Nov. 3, at his residence.
He is survived by his mother, Louvaine Buntin; daughter, Jahsenta Philbert; sons: Isiah Jr. and Jahrell Philbert; sisters: Iola Reason, Vanessa Reason and Aretha Ranger; brother, Lyndon Noel; aunts: Veraline James, Floris Brade, Rhea Philbert-Thomas, Eldica and Veronica Alexander; uncles: Raymond and Jerome St. Hillaire, Pastor Franklin Nicholas, Obed and Grantley Nicholas, Thomas and Vivian Philbert, Mervin Ross Philbert, Emanuel Letang and Atty. Stephen Isidore. He is also survived by special friends: Tuss, Kareem, Kenroy, Cato, Nehall, Michkie, Richard, Robert, Frederikson and Raheem; cousins: Dennis, Michael, Thelma, Brenda, Lerone, Stanley, Chad, Chrislyn, Alicia Francis, Franklin, Gailyn, Tracy, Ebony, Candice, Monique, Melvin, Obediah, Juan, Abida, Brizelle, Tansy, Royette, Paula and Jean; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
