Brief: Scotiabank Official Convicted of Wire Fraud

Former Scotiabank Assistant Manager of Sales and Marketing Wendie Michel Brown was convicted of 19 counts of wire fraud in Federal District Court on St. Thomas Thursday.

Following a four-day jury trial before Judge Curtis Gomez, Brown was convicted on all 19 counts charged in the indictment, according to a statement from the office of U.S. Attorney for the Virgin Islands Ronald Sharpe.
