Jan. 12, 2008 – Percy Samlal, also known as "Sam," of Williams Delight died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at his residence. He was 71 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Chandra Samlal; son, Sunil Samlal; grandchild, Jivahn Sunil Samlal; daughter-in-law, Najla K. Ldcure-Samlal; sister, Janee Samlal; and brothers: John Samlal and Frank Samlal. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Joyce and Meena Samlal, Dorothy Kattick and Amanda Ramsaroop; brothers-in-law: Basdeo Maharaj and Ashook Seelochan; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 1-1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at his residence in Williams Delight. A funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
