St. Elmo V. Greenidge Dies at 66

St. Elmo V. GreenidgeSt. Elmo V. Greenidge, also known as “Tomato Man,” of Frederiksted has died. He was 66 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Laurice Greenidge; sons: Ralph Greenidge and Wade Frederick; grandchild, Joshua Frederick; daughter-in-law: Lisa Greenidge; sister, Myrtle Greenidge; and brother, Randy Greenidge. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: June and Lana Taylor, Hazel Coulter, Judy Taylor, Juliet Cooper and Judy Greenidge; brothers-in-law: Macky, Leslie and Lloyd Taylor; nieces: too many to mention; nephew, Antonio Greenidge; aunt, Enid Babbe; great aunt, Eileen Connor; special friends: Vincent Joseph and Janis A. Esannason; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, at the Way of the Cross Baptist Church.
